1. Information We Collect

• Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and any other information you provide.
• Captured Thoughts: Thoughts you input into Capture are stored securely in a database managed by Supabase, our third-party provider.
• Subthoughts: We process Captured Thoughts to extract anonymized "Subthoughts," which are stripped of identifiable information.
• Usage Data: We may collect data about how you use the Service, such as log-in times and app interactions, to improve functionality.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To Provide the Service: We store and process Captured Thoughts to deliver the core functionality of Capture.
• Subthought Creation: Captured Thoughts are analyzed to generate Subthoughts, which are anonymized and shared with the Capture network as community assets owned by Chaos Intelligence.
• Improvement: Usage data helps us enhance the Service.
• Communication: We may use your email to send updates, notices, or respond to inquiries.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

• No Sale of Personal Data: We don't sell your personal information or Captured Thoughts.
• Anonymized Subthoughts: Subthoughts are shared anonymously with the Capture network and are owned by Chaos Intelligence LLC.
• Third Parties: We use Supabase to store data securely. Supabase may have access to your Captured Thoughts but is bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

4. Data Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your Captured Thoughts, but no system is fully secure. You acknowledge the inherent risks of data transmission over the internet.

5. Your Rights

• Access and Deletion: You may request access to or deletion of your personal data by emailing contact@chaosintelligenceinc.com. Note that deleting your account may not remove anonymized Subthoughts already created.
• Opt-Out: You can stop using the Service at any time.

6. Children's Privacy

Capture is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

7. International Users

The Service is hosted in the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., your data will be transferred to and processed in the U.S.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy and will notify you of changes via the Service or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
